How placements of your choice work

With placements of your choice, you decide precisely where your brand appears: the city of your shop, the canton you deliver to, the category of your products. You add placements whenever you like. Prices are on the pricing page.
How the price is calculated
You pay every month for each of your placements.
A canton has a fixed price. The price of a city depends on its size and popularity. The price of a category depends on how specific it is. A broad category, such as "Food", reaches a broader audience; a specific category, such as "Artisan jams", reaches a more targeted audience.
Visibility is chosen placement by placement: you can keep Enhanced visibility for your priority placements.
Ordering placements
Don't have a Mimelis Ads account yet? Click Choose my placements on the Mimelis Ads presentation page. You create your account when you order.
Already have a Mimelis Ads account? Open your brand's page, then Placements in its menu, and click Choose placements.
Choosing cantons, cities and categories
The order form has three sections.
- Cantons: your ad appears on the canton's page, seen by visitors interested in the whole region.
- Cities and towns: your ad appears on a city's page, for a very local audience.
- Product categories and universes: your ad appears on a category's themed page.
Categories are ranked by level: the lower the level, the broader the category. Click a category to show its subcategories, then switch on the ones you want. Each row shows its level and its monthly price.
You can add as many placements as you like.
Choosing visibility
To switch a placement to Enhanced visibility, turn on the Enhanced visibility switch on its row. Both formats are described in Standard visibility and Enhanced visibility.
Completing your order
Then fill in the How you will appear section, your billing information and your payment method.
Check the Summary, tick the confirmation box, then click Start my subscription.

Note: your ads appear after the verification of your account and your brand. For a first order, nothing is charged before then.
Changing your placements
Open your brand's page, then Placements, and click Edit my placements.
An addition or a switch to Enhanced visibility is billed immediately, pro rata until the due date. A removal or a switch back to Standard visibility applies at renewal: the placement stays visible until then.
One subscription for all brands
The placements of your choice of all your brands form a single monthly subscription, with a single due date. For another brand, open its page and add placements there: they join the existing subscription.
The subscription renews every month. You can turn off renewal at any time: see Renewal and end of subscription.

Frequently asked questions
Can several of my brands appear on the same placement?
Yes, if they are genuinely distinct brands, for example two hotels in your group. Each brand has its own placements. Creating identical or very similar brands to appear several times in the same spot is not allowed, unless we agree in advance: contact us.
Does a canton include its cities?
No. A canton and each of its cities have their own placement. A canton placement shows you on the canton's page. To appear on the placements of its cities as well, add them one by one, or build an advanced coverage that includes them all.
I already have a Mimelis Ads account: how do I add placements?
Log in to your Mimelis Ads account, then add your placements from your brand's page. Ordering from the presentation page is for new accounts only.
