Welcome to Natura Handwerk, the wool processing manufacturer with heart and tradition. For almost 30 years, we have been processing high-quality Swiss sheep, llama, and alpaca wool into natural and sustainable products on our farm. Surrounded by our farm animals, llamas, and alpacas, we live and work as a family in close contact with nature and the animals – this is evident in every one of our handmade pieces. Our Swiss production facility creates our own products, including duvets, pillows, bed pads, rugs, slippers, and much more, with great care and experience. All made from Swiss wool and genuinely handcrafted. Our range is complemented by carefully selected goods from Peru, which are produced under fair trade conditions. You can find us at numerous markets, where we exhibit in person, as well as in our large showroom on the farm. Here you can explore our products at your leisure, receive advice, and experience the unique atmosphere of our factory. Natura Handwerk is a family business where all generations contribute – from feeding the animals to the finished blanket. This close collaboration and our passion for craftsmanship and wool shape our work – day after day.

Alpaca duvet 160 x 210 cm 1.5 kg

This duvet is soft and supple thanks to the llama/alpaca blend. Unlike pure sheep's wool, which tends to be stiff due to the lanolin. Cover: tightly woven cotton percale, made in Switzerland. Filling: 80% llama/alpaca wool (CH) 20% sheep's wool (CH) Duvet hand-sewn In-house production Other sizes and filling quantities / weight on request We recommend a weight of 1.5 kg for a year-round duvet 160 x 210 cm. Properties of wool duvets: You sweat under a down duvet because the heat is trapped. You cover yourself up and cool down, and this happens several times, sometimes without waking up. This is why down duvets promote rheumatism. Wool regulates body temperature; when it's cold, it warms you and when it's warm, it cools you. Because of its high fat content, sheep's wool cannot absorb germs. The wool we use comes exclusively from Swiss sheep and llamas/alpacas, and is hand-picked and washed. We card it individually for each duvet, so no synthetic chemicals are needed. We also make duvets from your own llama, alpaca, or sheep's wool. We're happy to produce your duvet with your own wool. The price will be adjusted after your order, depending on the quality and quantity.
