Summer Honey 250g
About this product
Summer honey in a 250g jar: Harvested mid-season from our hives nestled at the edge of the forest in Courtepin, Courtaman, Wallenried, Prez-vers-Noréaz, Avenches and Courtion, our summer honey comes from a wide variety of flowers and nectar-bearing trees foraged during the warm season. A local honey that captures all the warmth of summer in a jar. Its thick texture and golden hue make it a generous honey, with a bolder aroma than spring honey, yet still well balanced. Perfect for lovers of rich, full-bodied honeys. No batch is ever identical, making each harvest unique. Summer honey details: Harvest date: July of the current year Color: Golden, caramel Texture: From creamy to thick liquid Tip: Crystallization is a normal, spontaneous process. If your honey crystallizes due to its high carbohydrate content, place it in the oven at 40°C until it liquefies again. Do not exceed this temperature, as it could damage the quality of the product. The apisuisse Gold Label guarantees the quality of the honey. Beekeepers displaying it on their jars have their production regularly inspected by specially trained inspectors. Key criteria include good beekeeping practices, pest control carried out according to guidelines with no residue left in the honey, and impeccable hygiene during harvesting and packaging. This ensures consumers a quality even higher than food safety law requires. Our grass-paper packaging: a natural, responsible and committed choice At Le Goût du Miel, every detail matters. That's why we chose grass-paper packaging made from fibers sourced from unused meadows, an eco-friendly and innovative alternative to traditional paper. Some figures: 100% recyclable and compostable 99% water savings* 97% energy savings* Up to 95% less CO2 from raw material production* Zero use of chemicals *Compared to wood cellulose Result: a biodegradable packaging that supports sustainable farming and helps preserve forests. Packaging that protects your product… and nature. Composting is an excellent way to reduce household waste. It turns what would otherwise be waste into nutrient-rich soil that can be used to grow flowers or vegetables. Simply add your grass-paper packaging to your garden compost bin and it will eventually biodegrade.

Discover a local, community-based and committed project! Le goût du miel Sàrl is an innovative Fribourg-based social enterprise supporting people in social and professional reintegration. Our program of activities is structured around several areas: the fascinating world of beekeeping, the artisanal production of high-quality natural products, the maintenance and enhancement of our vegetable garden, and many others. Every product we create tells a human story! Beekeeping: Our honeys come from the apiaries of the taste of honey, located on the edges of forests in the villages of Courtepin, Courtaman, Wallenried and Courtion. Candles: Our candles are made with European olive wax and premium fragrances. They are hand-poured in our workshops in Courtaman. Cosmetic products: Our cosmetics are manufactured in our laboratory using premium quality natural ingredients, beeswax and honey from our own production.
