Summer Honey 500g
About this product
Summer honey in a 500g jar: Harvested during the shoulder seasons from our apiaries located on the edge of the forest in Courtepin, Courtaman, Wallenried, Prez-vers-Noréaz, Avenches, and Courtion, our summer honey comes from a wide variety of nectar-bearing flowers and trees, foraged during the warmer months. A local honey that captures all the warmth of summer in a jar. Its thick texture and golden hue make it a generous honey, with a more pronounced aroma than spring honey, yet still well-balanced. Perfect for lovers of well-rounded honeys with a rich character. No two batches are identical, making each harvest unique. Summer honey: Harvest date: July of the current year Color: Gold, caramel Consistency: From creamy to thick liquid Tip: Crystallization is a normal and spontaneous phenomenon. When honey crystallizes due to its high carbohydrate content, place it in the oven at 40°C (104°F) until it liquefies. Be careful not to exceed this temperature to avoid damaging the product. The apisuisse Gold Label guarantees the quality of the honey. Beekeepers displaying it on their jars have their production regularly inspected by specially trained inspectors. The essential criteria include good beekeeping practices, pest control carried out according to guidelines and leaving no residue in the honey, as well as impeccable hygiene and cleanliness during harvesting and packaging. This guarantees consumers a quality that even exceeds the requirements of food law. Our grass paper packaging: a natural, responsible and committed choice When it comes to the taste of honey, every detail matters. That's why we've chosen grass paper packaging made from fibers sourced from uncultivated meadows. This makes it an eco-friendly and innovative alternative to traditional paper. Some figures: 100% recyclable and compostable 99% water savings* 97% energy savings* Up to 95% less CO2 from raw material production* Zero use of chemicals *Compared to wood cellulose The result: biodegradable packaging that supports sustainable agriculture and preserves forests Packaging that protects your product… and nature. Composting is a great way to reduce waste at home. It transforms what would otherwise be waste into nutrient-rich compost, perfect for growing flowers or vegetables. You can simply add your grass clippings to your garden compost bin, and they will eventually biodegrade.
