The sun stays just long enough for the frost to evaporate, then it is gone. Once it slips behind the ridge, the temperature drops sharply and all that remains is the silence of a valley in the shade. Meet Mate y Moka

Artisan

Mate y Moka is a free space where you can stop and bring your own picnic, or enjoy one of our artisanal ice creams. You can have a beer and play ping pong or you can just stay and do nothing. Our self-service restaurant allows you to stay free and use the space as you wish. The products you find at the kiosk are almost all our own production: honey, jams, salts, and beeswax-based products. We are a family of climbers who live in this valley without electricity all year round. I come from a background in documentary directing and have retained within me a passion for photography and art. In my spare time I photograph the valley in winter and vent my utopian ideas with wood.
